Ministries: Stewardship

Trustees - Minister Velma Jackson
Serve as legal representatives in all transactions related to the church. Holds legal title to the church property and signs all documents related to the purchase, sale, mortgaging or rental of church property after approval by the church in regular business session.

Director of Finance - Minister Velma Jackson
This person is responsible to the church, supervised by the Stewardship Director, for the administering of the business affairs of the church.

Financial Secretary - Sister Rosie Gransberry
Maintains the church records and prepares financial reports

Treasurer - Brother William Bess
Responsible to the church to protect the church's money and those involved in handling the church's money.

Deacons - Deacon Michael Shelton
Responsible to the church to assist the pastor as needed. Must be of high morals, ideals and practices; good family life; settle in religious faith; an example setter and inspirer of others in the church.

Deaconess - Sister Cora Jones
Responsible to the church and to help the deacons assist the pastor.

Help Line - Sister Wanda Shields
Volunteer provide spiritual counseling, clothing and food to community residents. Clients and applications are taken by appointment only on Monday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.

Solace - Brother Richard Carter
This outreach ministry is to help those in financial need. Contact the Family Life Center at 432-683-0838 to make an appointment.
